Will my hair grow back thicker, darker or heavier from waxing?

No, it will not. Waxing removes the hair by the root, often weakening the root during the regrowth process. Therefore, waxing will allow the hair to grow finer and sparser with repeated regular waxing.

What are the benefits of waxing?

Smooth and even skin. Less regrowth in between appointments. Finer and sparser hair. Gentle exfoliation. Less prone to inflammation. No itching and prickliness. No cuts. With waxing, you aren’t at risk to any cuts or nicks that can leave you with scars from shaving. Stubble free skin – Waxing removes unwanted hair completely, from its roots. Shaving, on the other hand, often results in stubbles, leaving your skin feeling rough and abrasive. There are minimal chemicals involved in the waxing process, so rarely does waxing cause any skin irritation or allergy.

What is your cancellation policy?

Skin Loft Esthetics requires at least a 24 hour notice of any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments in order to avoid a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total treatment’s cost. No-shows are subject to a penalty fee of 100% of the treatment cost. As a courtesy, we send a reminder via email and text message to clients. Ultimately, It’s the responsibility of the client to arrange and commit to appointment times. We realize that unforeseen events occasionally arise, however, each person’s appointment represents time, resources, and equipment reserved exclusively for them. We thank you for your cooperation regarding this policy.

What do I need if I am a new client?

First time clients are recommended to schedule a consultation. This allows us to assess your skin’s sensitivity, which will help to curate the most effective treatment plan to ensure long term results. Please complete all forms prior to arriving.

How can I book an appointment?

All services can be booked here on our website. To ensure your scheduled session, we ask for a $50 non-refundable payment for services over $100.  We require half of the cost up front to secure your appointment. Deposits are applied toward service. Once deposit invoice is paid, a confirmation email/text of accepted appointment will be sent.

Although deposits are nonrefundable, they are transferable in the event that you need to reschedule. You must reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled service or deposit will be forfeited. 

What happens if I'm late?

We do not charge for lateness. However, your service time will be adjusted based on the time you arrive. If you are 15 minutes late to a 60 minute service, your total service time will be 45 minutes. Your appointment must be rescheduled if you’ll be more than 30 minutes late.

How can I cancel my appointment?

We value your business and take special care to prepare for your visit. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we respectfully ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancelation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 24 hour notice we are often unable to fill that appointment time.
